John's Journey
Meet John, a recent graduate from the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) in Liberia. He struggled to navigate the educational system while at the University. Through an outreach program facilitated by AMEUAA-USA, John attended workshops on school enrollment, ESL support, and scholarship opportunities. We connected John with mentors who helped him apply for enrollment to AME University through a scholarship program. Within a year, John was enrolled in business college at the University.
The program didn’t just offer information—it gave John confidence, community, and a path forward.
